    Die Makita DCG 180 ist eine professionelle Akku-Kartuschenpistole, die speziell für das Verarbeiten großer Mengen an Dichtungsmitteln in Patronen- und Folienbeutelform konzipiert wurde. Diese vielseitige Pistole bietet fünf einstellbare Drehzahlen, die es ermöglichen, die Ausgabemenge präzise an unterschiedliche Materialien und deren erforderliche Breiten anzupassen. Dies macht sie ideal für Tätigkeiten wie Abdichten und Leimen. Die Kartuschenpistole kommt mit drei verschiedenen Kolben: Kolben A ist optimal für den Einsatz mit einem 300 ml Kartuschenhalter, während Kolben B in Kombination mit einem Beutelhalter verwendet wird, der 600 ml Folienbeutel fasst. Kolben C hingegen ist für den Einsatz mit einem Beutelhalter gedacht, der Dichtungsmittel direkt aus einem Eimer aufzieht. Eine besondere Funktion dieser Pistole ist der Tiefentladeschutz, der das Gerät automatisch abschaltet, sobald der Akkustand kritisch niedrig wird, um eine Beschädigung des Akkus zu verhindern. Ein weiteres praktisches Feature ist das integrierte LED-Licht, das die Arbeit auch an schlecht beleuchteten Stellen erleichtert. Zudem verhindert die Pistole ein nachträgliches Auslaufen des Inhalts, nachdem der Einschalter gelöst wurde.
