Product Description:

The Makita UC029G chainsaw stands out thanks to its compact design and powerful performance. It is powered by a 40 V max XGT battery and is impressively manoeuvrable, weighing just 2.6 kg including the BL4040F battery. This chainsaw combines a high chain speed of 8 m/s with practical features that make it particularly user-friendly. A standout feature of the UC029G is the tool-free chain tensioner, which allows the chain tension to be adjusted quickly and easily, even whilst wearing gloves. The automatic chain lubrication ensures that the saw chain is always optimally lubricated, minimising wear and extending its service life. An additional safety feature is the movable protective cover, which covers the top of the guide bar and opens gradually as the saw cuts into the wood to provide maximum protection. For continuous monitoring of the oil level, the saw is fitted with a chain oil sight glass, which allows for easy checking. The eXtreme Protection Technology (XPT) also improves the chainsaw’s resistance to dust and water, making it particularly suitable for use in harsh conditions. The saw features a locking lever accessible from both sides and an electric brake that stops the chain extremely quickly once the switch is released, thereby boosting productivity and enhancing operator safety. Please note that the use of BL4080 and BL4050 batteries is not recommended for this model. Instead, the 80TXL saw chain, with a groove width of 1.1 mm, ensures rapid cutting progress and contributes to efficient and safe operation.
